Orefice Generators protagonista dell'edizione 2017 della fiera biennale Matexpo tenutasi presso il centro espositivo di Kortrijk in Belgio, aggiudicandosi, con l'innovativo prodotto Recogeno, il prestigioso Green Awards per la migliore innovazione dal tema "Green".
La premiazione, avvenuta il 5 Settembre durante la cerimonia di apertura dell'evento, si è svolta in presenza di importanti personalità dell'imprenditoria Belga e del Ministro dei Trasporti François Bellot.
A consegnare il prestigioso riconoscimento è stato Leo Van Hoorick, giornalista del settore Automotive e membro della giuria Internazionale "Van of the Year", che ha definito Recogeno "un vero prodotto smart", realmente utile per la collettività grazie alla sua semplicità nel funzionamento e nell'impiego.
A ricevere il premio, Andrea Orefice, che accompagnato dal Dealer locale, ha voluto ringraziare la giuria e il pubblico per il riconoscimento, e ricordare come nonostante l'azienda sia arrivata ormai alla terza generazione dopo quasi 80 anni, mantiene lo stesso atteggiamento volto all'innovazione che l'ha contraddistinta in tutta la sua lunga storia.
Recogeno è un dispositivo capace di recuperare calore dal gruppo elettrogeno senza apportare nessuna modifica al motore o all'impianto di scarico.
Il dispositivo, che non è un semplice scambiatore di calore, ha la particolarità di poter funzionare con interessanti performance indipendentemente dalla potenza del gruppo elettrogeno e dall'utilizzo più o meno continuo dello stesso generatore.
Patendo dal presupposto che i gruppi elettrogeni in cantiere sono particolarmente diffusi, esso nasce per fornire acqua calda a costo zero presso i cantieri da costruzione, trovando poi molteplici impieghi nel riscaldamento di piccole unità abitative come containers ad uso uffici o spogliatoi, risolvendo così un problema evidentemente molto sentito da parte di chi opera in contesti in cui le temperature possono arrivare anche parecchi gradi sotto lo zero.

Recognized is a device capable of recovering heat from the generator without making any modifications to the engine or exhaust system.
The device, which is not a simple heat exchanger, has the peculiarity of being able to operate with attractive performance regardless the power of the generator and the more or less continuous use of the same generator.
Given the assumption that the generator sets in the worksite are particularly widespread, it is develloped to provide hot water at zero cost in the construction premises, finding multiple uses in the heating of small units such as office or locker containers, thus solving a problem obviously felt by those who work in contexts where temperatures can also reach several degrees below zero.
